ANTI- BULLING CLUB 5TH GRADE B

While reading and discussing Good-Bye Bully Machine by Debbie Fox and Allan L. Beane, 5B decided to form an anti-bullying club. As a club they raised money by holding a bake sale and a jeans day. The money was used to purchase pins which they gave out to students who signed an anti-bullying promise. The rest of the money will be used to purchase books for the AIS Library on the themes of bullying and being a good friend.
5B has found and read a variety of other books on this theme from the school library, as well as their classroom library. They would like to share some these titles with the AIS community in order to encourage discussions about bullying and how to be a good friend at home and in the classrooms.
